I’m not familiar with the auto in the foreground of the middle photo, but I see some VW’s in the background. Was this by chance taken at the VW museum?

Yes, the pics are from the VW Museum in Wolfsburg. The car in the middle photo is a VW Nardo in I remember correctly.
