That “light” is a rear view mirror. No date on the plate.

Interesting. I wonder what year they started to put dates on license plates so you had to purchase new ones every year.

Hm-m-m. As I look at an enlarged photo of the rear plate, it appears there is a spot for the tag, but just nothing there. Maybe the years wore it away. I should have enlarged the photos before I asked my questions. That sure is a funny looking mirror, though.
