We love car museums and car shows, but we also treasure the surprises that are often just on the side of the road. We found this lovely town not too far from the Savoy Automotive Museum and we stayed at a B&B that we felt fortunate to have found.
It is the Adair Manor and it was a treat to stay there. The rooms are ageless and there is no wi-fi or TV to disturb the serenity.
We couldn’t resist exploring the town center which was an easy walk away. Here are some the places we saw…

Seeing this Studebaker brought back memories of the TV show Mr. Ed as they were the major sponsor of the show.
It is always nice to see that someone knows what a treasure they have, on the side of the road.
