A friend sent me this photograph of Mark in a test car with what looks like an early attempt to use an on-board computer to gather data.   Does anyone know if this is true?

In 1967Chevrolet R&D Began using telemetry to try to see what the race car was actually doing during cornering, braking and acceleration. Once a base line was established changes could be made and measured for success or failure. This was done primarily at the GM test track but Donahue convinced the GM engineers to attend a test at a track that would be raced on later in the year in Maryland. Donahue’s (and the Camaro’s) first win was there.

Do you know where I can get a copy of the photo with Mark and his early data acquisition setup?

I don’t own the rights to this photo. It appears to be owned by the Donahue Collection. There may be a way to contact them directly. I don’t know what publication this came from as it was sent to me by an enthusiast.
