Janis Joplin’s Porsche

Monday, October 4, is the anniversary of the death of Janis Joplin, perhaps the most amazing blues singer ever.   If not, she was certainly one of the top.  In her posthumously released Pearl album, she sang of wanting a Mercedes Benz, but she actually owned a “bathtub” Porsche with a very special paint job executed by one of her friends.  Here are several photos:
