One of the items that I added to the P71 was a dashcam so that I would have a record of what other drivers were doing in front of me. fortunately nothing all that exciting occurred, but in Russia it can be a very different matter:

Apparently Dashcams are such a rage in Russia because of police abuse. At least it does some (entertaining) good.
Those were amazing – many thanks to Rodney. I’m glad they kept the potentially more gory versions out of the overall video, but some unbelievably close misses.
You will find the use of dash camera in russia is more prominent than other developing nations as a result of lawless roads, corrupt police officers, and insurance scams for example. Individuals use these devices as a means of personal eyewitness.
